How awesome is this? I just had a friend of mine, Robert Ashford (a/k/a Rob the Brit), send me this picture from a pub in a little village called Lavenham, Suffolk (England). The pub is called 'The Swan' and has been around since the 1400's but was a hangout in WWII for US airmen of the 8th Air Force. They would sign the wall with their names, ranks, where they came from, and sometimes the date. These have been preserved behind a glass case which is really cool. Do you see your or a loved one's name? Write me back!!! I want to know. I would love to interview them and hear their stories.
